Frequently Asked Questions
Plain answers about how the program works
It is a supplemental health and wellness benefit for W-2 employees that works alongside — never instead of — the health insurance your team already has. Participating employees gain access to benefits such as 24/7 virtual doctor visits, preventive care resources, wellness support, and options for supplemental coverage like accident, disability, and life insurance.
No. Your existing insurance, broker, and policies all stay exactly as they are. The program is designed to sit on top of your current coverage and add to it.
The program is structured to be cost-neutral: it works through pre-tax payroll deductions paired with program benefits, and the resulting reduction in taxable payroll is designed to offset the cost for both the business and its employees. Every organization is different, so we will walk you through exact numbers for your team before you decide anything.
Employees must be W-2 employees, work a minimum of 30 hours per week, and have qualified health insurance — through your company, a spouse, or a private plan.
Typical program benefits include around-the-clock telehealth access for themselves and their families, preventive care and wellness resources, behavioral health support, and the option to add supplemental protection such as accident, disability, critical illness, or life coverage.
The program is designed so that participating employees’ take-home pay is not reduced — the pre-tax deduction is balanced by the program’s benefits and tax treatment. Exact figures depend on each employee’s situation, and every employee sees their own numbers before enrolling. Participation is voluntary.
Very little. The program provider handles implementation, enrollment, administration, and compliance support. Your team’s main job is normal payroll processing.
